A Rare Table Lamp by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte

Italy, circa 1935

A rare table lamp featuring a thick crystal base which supports a stylized branch in cream enamel with gilt brass leaves and three light sources. The inner branch is surrounded by two curving shield shaped clear crystal shades. Other features of the lamp include a top brass ring handle, a swirling "fence" around the bottom of the branch and a square crystal on / off switch. Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, Italy circa 1935.
